29 years since the worst nuclear accident happened
CHIŞINĂU, April 23rd, 2015 – Vice President of Veterans Association “Chernobyl”, Colonel (r) Andrei Vicolaş met with the students of the Armed Forces Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun”, held on April 23rd.
During the meeting, Colonel (r) Andrei Vicolaş reported the youth on consequences and actions of participants during liquidation of consequences of Chernobyl disaster.
Later on, a documentary film about the disastrous consequences of the nuclear accident and its aftermath was shown to the students.
Colonel (r) Andrei Vicolaş, as a co-author of two editions of memoirs “Chernobyl tragedy of century” at the 25th commemoration, and “Blue Planet SOS and Chernobyl 21 “, offered several sets of books to the library of the Military Academy.
It should be noted that this year marks 29 years since the terrible disaster happened.
