The commemoration of Grigore Vieru
CHIŞINĂU, February 14, 2017 – The Armed Forces Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun” organized an commemorating event to the poet Grigore Vieru within a literary activity entitled „Reaprindeţi candela-n căscioare” (light the candle in the little houses).
Present at the event, the acting commandant (rector) Armed Forces Military Academy, colonel Gheorghe Ţurcanu said that the poetries of Grigore Vieru offer us a versatile development contributing significantly to our nation.
At the activity there were present the founder of artistic literary Cenacle “Ideal” Vasile Căpăţînă, composer and singer Ilie Văluţă, actor Sandu Aristin Cupcea and poet and literary critic Lidia Grosu. The guests recited poems written by Grigore Vieru and sang songs on his lyrics.
The event was organized to celebrate 82 years of the birth of poet Grigore Vieru.
