Representatives of “Lucian Blaga”  University from Sibiu visited the Military Academy

CHIŞINĂU, June 8, 2017 – The Military Academy was visited by a delegation from “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, Romania, Department of Political Science, International Relations and Security Studies. The representatives were prof. Dr. Eugen Străuţiu, univ. lect. Dr. Nicoleta Munteanu, univ. assist.  Dr. Marius Şpechea.
During the visit they aimed to present the scientific activity and the projects developed within two research centers: Research Center for Political Sciences, International Relations and European Studies of Social Sciences Faculty and Transnistrian Conflict Analysis Laboratory.
The meeting started with a broad presentation of the activities  carried out by Transnistrian Conflict Analysis Laboratory, conducted by Dr. Nicoleta Munteanu, with the most consistent scientific achievements of the research program and some perspective intentions, with emphasis on the weight of Transnistrian Conflict Analysis Laboratory in the analysis and prognosis of the evolutions in the Transnistria conflict.
Dr. Marius Şpechea continued with the objectives and stages of implementation of the Transnistrian Conflict Files – solutions for the development of the society on the two banks of the Nistru, underlining the importance of achieving the proposed goal of giving the public an objective perception of the situation in the Transnistrian region through media representatives.
About the remarkable scientific result of the project “Transnistrian conflict files – solutions for the development of the society on the two banks of Nistru River”, the director Eugen Străuţiu spoke. The end of the project involves the publication of a bilingual (English-Romanian) volume entitled “Transnistrian Conflict Files” – a valuable publication that includes a complex analysis on various sectors with pertinent forward-looking recommendations.
The meeting ended with a session of questions addressed to the members of the research team.
