Armed Forces Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun” started the study year 2017-2018
CHIŞINĂU, September 1, 2017 – The Armed Forces Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun” started the new year of studies 2017-2018 during a festive activity attended by Deputy Minister of Defence, Mr. Gheorghe Galbura and representatives of the Ministry of Defence.
Attending the event, Deputy Minister of Defence, Mr. Gheorghe Galbura, came up with a congratulatory message on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year, underlining: “Dear students, you are the future of the National Army, the promoters of the change that the National Army needs at the moment. Therefore, you have the obligation and responsibility in your three years of study to be persevering and invest in knowledge. We also thank teachers for their competence and skills to make the learning environment friendly and safe for you. Officers, students, professors, I wish to congratulate you with the beginning of the new academic year 2017-2018, I wish you great health and success in learning.”
The commandant (rector) Military Academy colonel Sergiu Plop congratulated the entire staff with the new academic year, saying: “The new school year begins at a time when Militay Academy is in the process of reforming the education system. These reforms are the provision of student preparation conditions at the level of today’s civilized demands. dear students, I ask you to understand that you have to learn not just for school but also for life, and teachers will be your guides and bigger friends to whom you can call as many times as you need. We want you to have the trust and respect for the fundamental human values and love, the good and the truth, hope, work, love for the homeland and responsibility. As commandant of the academy, I hope that the next academic year will be a success for you. I am convinced that our teachers will work to ensure the necessary conditions for university education at a high level of training. To all students, teachers I wish you health and many successes at all levels of university education, ” colonel Sergiu Plop concluded.
During this activity, the Deputy Minister of Defence handed to Military Academy staff diplomas and awards on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the creation of the National Army.
