Post action analysis of military education
A NATO expert group, led by Jean d’ANDURAIN (France), John F. TROXELL (USA), Marius SOLISZ (Poland) and Florian CIRCIUMARU (Romania), paid a working visit to the Military Academy of the Armed Forces “Alexandrucel Bun” from 8th to 11thJuly.
The purpose of this visit was the post action analysis of the educational process in the Military Academy of the Armed Forces “Alexandrucel Bun” for the academic year 2012-2013.
The NATO experts assessed a number of activities carried out all the way through 2012-2013.
During the meeting, the sides conversed about the results regarding not only military educational institution’ modernization but also the military education’ objectives set for 2014.
In the aforementioned period, the NATO experts had a meeting with the Minister of Defense VitalieMARINUTA.
The NATO experts mentioned how greatly Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun” has been developed and how dynamic various educational progressions have been going on in recent years.
In this perspective, the Minister of Defence VitalieMARINUTA asked assistance from NATO experts in developing and implementing curriculum for doctoral studies in the field of defense in accordance with Western standards. Therefore, he added that our part is looking forward to the expansion of cooperation in the sphere of the education of National Army staff.
It is worth noting that the process of modernization of the Military Academy began in 2009, and it aims at aquiring Western standards of training.
