Continuous training center

Continuous training center (CTC) is a component part of the Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun”.

CTC mission:

To prepare personnel of the Armed Forces, Police and Civil Departments for operational duties in peacekeeping missions, train NCOs, WOs and Officers for different assignments in units, develop ADL capabilities in National Army.

CTC objectives:

  • To provide education and training support to military personnel to reach Interoperability Objectives and Partnership Goals;
  • To train contingents, units, and individuals for peacekeeping mission in the Security Zone (Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova) and other missions (UN, OSCE, Coalition Forces);
  • To develop training programs, recommendations and lessons learned for peacekeeping units;
  • To conduct seminars and forums on selected subjects to enhance the knowledge and understanding of peacekeeping efforts;
  • To provide training for NCOs, WOs and Officers;
  • To continue development of ADL capabilities in National Army and integrate ADL courses into education curricula.

CTC’s structure is as follows:

  • Continuous Training and Peace Keeping section;
  • NCO and WO section;
  • Support section;
  • Advanced Distributed Learning section.

Achievements:

  1. UN (OSCE) military observer course ((in English language) (once per year));
  2. Junior leaders course for peacekeeping operation (once per year);
  3. Military observers and staff officer course for the Security Zone (Transnistrian Region of the Republic of Moldova) (2 times per year);
  4. Pre-deployment course for the NCOs and soldiers for the Security Zone (Transnistrian Region of the Republic of Moldova) (2 times per year);
  5. Advance course;
  6. Junior Staff Officers Course;
  7. NCO Courses (Level 1&2);
  8. WO Courses;
  9. ADL Courses.
On 22 March 2012, Continuous Training Centre was recognized as a Partnership and Education Centre.
