Rugby Team “Triumph” participated in the first international tournament
On July 2 to 8, the rugby team “Triumph” of the Military Academy of Armed Forces participated in the first international tournament “Memorial Revolution” organized by the Rugby Federation of Romania, at the sports club “Star” in Bucharest.
The tournament was attended by athletes from Romania, Moldova, the Ukraine, United Kingdom, Italy, France.
The team “Triumph” has succeeded to qualify for the semifinals, where the team gave the place to French Army and the match for the third place was given to Romania (U 23).
As a result, the “Triumph” was ranked on the fourth place, which greatly enriched the experience of competitive rugby players.
