In the memory of the great poet Mihai Eminescu
On the 15th of January 2014, it was celebrated 164 years since the birth of the national poet Mihai Eminescu. A literary- musical show entitled “Eminescu – nemurire” was organized at the Cultural Center and Military History of National Army.
The famous actress Paulina Zaftoni was the guest of honor of this event. She presented a recital of poetry written by Eminescu, followed by the message to young people, urging them to study the literary work of Mihai Eminescu.
The Students of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces “Alexandru cel Bun”, State University from Moldova and State Pedagogical University “Ion Creanga” as well as high school students from Chisinau, attending the event, enjoyed a vast artistic program.
During the cultural and artistic activities there were recited Eminescu’s poems. Laureates of the national and international contests sang songs on his verses. The program included an art exhibition, a documentary film.
Today, it was also celebrated for the second time the Day of Culture in Moldova.
