Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Moldova Gheorghe Galbura visited the Military Academy
CHIŞINĂU, January 25, 2017 – Deputy Minister of Defence Gheorghe Galbura paid a working visit to the Armed Forces Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun”.
The acting commandant (rector) of the Armed Forces Military Academy, colonel Gheorghe Ţurcanu, informed the Deputy Minister of Defence about organization of the educational process and the new goals and objectives for the current year.
During the visit, Deputy Minister of Defence checked how final evaluations are conducted in the winter session. Moreover, he had friendly discussions with students, giving them advice and encouraging them regarding education process, noting that the future of National Army depends on their studies and work that they will apply for the primary purpose of defending the country.
Furthermore, Mr. Gheorghe Galbura inspected the institution’s subdivisions, block of study, departments, students’ dormitories and barracks and finally academy canteen.
At the end of the visit, Deputy Minister of Defence said that he is pleasantly surprised by the academy’s achievements and students’ results in exams and he wished them success forwards.
