Armed Forces Military Academy aquired the accreditation

  On December 20th, 2013, within the meeting of the National Council for Certification and Accreditation, Armed Forces Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun” was scientifically accredited in research field – NATIONAL SECURITY ASSURANCE – LANDMARKS for the REPUBLIC of MOLDOVA. Pursuant to the obtained score, the institution was granted the “C” category of the scientific accreditation.

  According to the vice rector for scientific work, Dr. Igor Sofronescu: “After the scientific accreditation of the institution, the further activity of the Armed Forces Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun” assumes  a broad reorganization of the research process that will bring the Academy, and the National Army actually more benefits and opportunities in not only the possibility of competing in research projects financed from the budget, but also an opportunity of engagement in projects/research programs launched  at international level, etc”.

  This event was preceded by another major event – the accreditation of the scientific publication of the institution.

  On November 28th, 2013, the Supreme Council for Science and Technological Development of the Academy of Sciences recognized “Military Magazine” (Security and Defence Studies) as a scientific publication, category “C”, in three scientific domains: a) Military and National Security Sciences b) Political Sciences and c) History. The Scientific publication is the first and only magazine in military science and national security of the Republic of Moldova.

  Both the scientific institution accreditation and the accreditation of the scientific publication of Military Magazine are remarkable achievements for the development of military science in the context of supporting the national academic military higher education.
