International Training
From the 28th of January till the 30th of January, 2014 a group of NATO experts, Dr. Craig Bullis Dr. Marybeth Ulrich of the U.S. War College, visited the Military Academy of the Armed Forces “Alexandru cel Bun”.
According to Public Administration Faculty Dean, Colonel Sergiu Plop, this activity is part of the DEEP program (Defense Education Enhancement Program) Moldova. The purpose of the experts’ visit is to provide assistance to the teachers of the academy for the running of the lessons and curricula revision in Leadership and Civil-Military Relations subjects. The agenda included lessons with students in the first year of study, undergraduate cycle and the second cycle higher education Master.
NATO experts will also run lectures on Leadership and Civil-Military relations subjects together with public servants, that participate in post- security and defense course held for the first time by the Ministry of Defence and Military Academy.
The purpose of the activity is taking and using Western experience in leadership and civil-military relations and exchange of experience between foreign experts and Moldovan militaries.
