Their Royal Highnesses Prince Radu and Prince Nicolae of Romania have visited the Military Academy
CHISINAU, February 24, 2015 – Their Royal Highnesses Prince Radu and Prince Nicolae of Romania have visited the Armed Forces Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun”, this February 24th.
On this occasion, Their Royal Highnesses had a meeting with the Minister of Defence Viorel Cibotaru and the leadership representatives of Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun”.
The Commander (rector) of the Armed Forces Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun” colonel Mihail Bucliş specified that during the meeting were presented data from the history and development of the military institution, international cooperation relations; also, the most important achievements of the academy were highlighted. Besides, future projects that need to be achieved have been mentioned.
In turn, HRH Prince Radu of Romania mentioned that the visit to the Military Academy will bring about new collaborations between Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun” and National Defence University “Carol I” in Bucharest. Today’s meeting will allow the building of bridges through mutual visits of military students in educational institutions. The parties exchanged symbolic gifts. The Commander (rector) of the Military Academy offered Their Royal Highnesses jubilee albums of the institution.
Later, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Radu and Prince Nicolae of Romania have visited the infrastructure of the Armed Forces Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun”, departments, linguistic center and dormitories.
It should be mentioned that it’s a premiere when representatives of the Royal House visit the Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun”.
