Military students took the oath

Chisinau, on the 24th of August 2013 – the 1st year students of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces “Alexandru cel Bun” took their military oath at a ceremony held at the monument “Maica Indurerata ” at the memorial ” Eternitate “.

Deputy Defence Minister, Igor Panfile, present at the event, congratulated the 68 students, when taking the oath of allegiance. “You are the future of our National Army, the promoters of change. Therefore, you have the obligation and responsibility in four years of studies, to be persistent, to invest in knowledge and understand that the future belongs to those who learn. Because only seriously trained officers, professional militaries, can strengthen a modern army adapted the current requirements,” the deputy minister said to the first year students.

The Commander, rector of the Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun” Colonel Mihail Bucliş said the enrolled students, demonstrated sound knowledge and good physical training at the admission exams and in the integrating course. “I am sure that during the four years of studies, they will learn the military art, and comply with current rigors specific to national military education, according to the international standards,” said Colonel Bucliş .

The military swearing ceremony attended by relatives of the students and representatives of the Ministry of Defence, General Staff, war veterans and retired military personnel.

Students admitted to the Military Academy had a military integration course for three weeks, held at the Bulboaca, military training base, where they studied general military training, frontline training, genius training and firings.

68 students of which 10 are girls were admitted at the Military Academy in the academic year 2013-2014. The duration of study in the institution is four years.
